Equus, which John S. 'Jack' Corbett Jr. founded with his son Dean in 1985, is a fine dining restaurant serving American regional cuisine. Equus has garnished rave reviews, which triggered four expansions, including the addition of Jack's Lounge, which opened in 2000 and is named for Mr. Corbett.
Classical cooking techniques with a heavy emphasis on traditional flavors and seasonal ingredients create a sophisticated Modern American menu. The Equus culinary team supports local farmers and producers and takes pride in personally knowing who grows the food they serve.
The award-winning Wine Spectator list with 300 bottles of wine includes many classics but some surprises as well, inspired by the cuisine.
